About this development/site: The Independent Living Project (ILP) is a programme by Leeds City Council, Adult Social Care to: increase opportunities for people with a learning disability or mental health needs to take greater control of their lives, provide accommodation for the next 25 years in partnership with Leeds Independent Living Accommodation Company (LILAC). Currently more than 340 people with learning disability or mental health needs live in 13 hostels throughout the city. They will move to 73 new purpose-built properties on 40 sites enabling people to live in communities of their choosing.
