About this contract: South Derbyshire District Council's housing department own approx 3,235 homes throughout the district. Their main areas of service delivery in relation to this contract are, repairs and improvement works, empty homes and estate management which includes a CareLine.
What we do: Powerminster Gleeson Services was appointed in March 2008 to provide the following electrical repair and maintenance services:
- General Electrical Maintenance
- Voids Works
- 24/7 Emergency Response Service
In addition to the core housing services mentioned above we provide emergency lighting and fire alarm testing to an additional 24 public buildings
Innovation:
- Hand Held Technology to Manage Reactive Calls
- 5 year rolling programme of electrical testing covering
approximately 600 homes per annum
