About this development/site: Henry Boot have
selected Powerminster to tender a model schedule to undertake
various dwelling types and varying schedules which have been
incorporated into the rates to eliminate any ambiguity towards
costs. Powerminster were successful with the tender and this is now
a live working model being applied to a scheme within the Sheffield
area.
What we do: Powerminster involvement on the above contract is based around the installation of Bathrooms, Kitchens and Central Heating installations in occupied houses being refurbished to meet Decent Homes criteria.
Innovation:
- Powerminster have been selected as a partner by Henry Boot working alongside the main contractor to produce a high quality job creating low disruption and quick turnaround of social dwellings.
- To create added value whilst utilising quality materials.
- To cut down on costly surveying processes by utilising a schedule of rates which can be applied to varying Social Housing Schemes.
- To eliminate disputes over valuations due to agreed schedule of rates at the onset of the scheme.
- Statutory Inspections & Routine & Responsive Comprehensive Annual Servicing
